Economical Industrial Grade 10,000 PSI Power Units

Many applications do not require the continuous duty Mill quality of our standard 10,000 PSI Hydraulic Power Units. For these applications Vale Industries is proud to present our newest addition to our product line. The Industrial Series of power units. Instead of the usual continuous run power unit, the pump is an ‘on demand’ unit, that starts when the trigger actuator is pulled, and ceases operation when released. Correspondingly the motor is running only when the tool is in operation and is idle otherwise.

Lightweight Portable Power Unit

The compact Vale Industries VHPI-3 power unit weighs only 30 pounds with oil and can be easily carried from one operation to another utilizing the provided handle. The pump provides 1 G.P.M flow at low pressure ( below 100 PSI), for a fast approach. The flow is then automatically shifted to a lower setting to provide higher pressures (up to 10,000 PSI) for cutting. An integral dump valve is provided to unload the system when the actuating trigger is released.

The motor is fully capable of starting under load and requires only 10.2 Amps, which permits operation with small generators or low amperage circuits.

Noise level of the pump is in the 85 to 90 dBA range and is intended for intermittent duty.

This Power Unit is IDEALLY suited to Vale Industries range of Lightweight Barshears and Rod Straighteners.
