Economical Industrial Grade 10,000 PSI Power Units

Many applications don’t require the continuous duty Mill quality of our standard Hydraulic Power Units. For these jobs we have our new Vale Industrial Power Units. Instead of continuous operation, the pump starts whenthe tool trigger is pushed and turns off when the trigger is released. The motor runs only intermittently when the tool is in operation, otherwise it is idle.

Lightweight Portable Power Unit

The compact Vale VHPI-3 Power Unit weighs only 30 pounds and can be easily carried from one operation to another by the handle on top. The pump provides 1 GPM flow at low pressure (below 100 PSI) for a fast approach and a reduced flow at higher pressure ( up to 10,000 PSI) when cutting. A dump valve is provided to unload the tool when the trigger is released.The motor can start under load and requires only 10.2 amps which permits operation with small generators or low amperage circuits. The pump has a noise level of 85 to 90 dBA and is intended for intermittent duty.

This Power Unit is ideally suited for use with Vale’s series of lightweight Bar Shears and Rod Straighteners.
